Size

Rose Yarrow is a compact mounding herbaceous perennial with upright stems and deeply dissected medium green aromatic foliage.  A full bloom of small deep rose pink flowers bloom in flat clusters in late spring into summer and may rebloom if deadheaded.  An excellent cut flower that retains color when dried.  Prefers full sun and well-drained soils.  Heat and drought tolerant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Stems tend to flop if grown in rich, moist soils.  Taller stems may need staking if grown in light shade.  Can cut back in spring before bloom to reduce height, or after to encourage additional bloom.  Stem rot, rust, and powdery mildew can be an occasional issue.
